Engine suddenly loses power
For reference
Honda BF50 suddenly loses power, only goes forward or reverses at idle revs. Continues to tick over but won't increase revs past idling.
Lock pin on throttle arm disconnected refix...

Bowline rope trick

stiff steering
This is just a tip for anyone having trouble with stiff steering which is caused by the engine being stiff in it's support bracket.
Marine grease should always be used but even this can harden...

Thanks for the reply. One of the options is a sizuki 70 longshaft that we hoped could be changed to a short shaft by maybe taking out a section and changing shafts to a short one. Just wondering...

My flow was tank - bulb - separator - engine.
The bulb did get polluted and failed. Which it possibly wouldn't have done if it was downstream of the separator/filter....
