question for phone techys

As a back-up........

Which, if any, phone should I get which has GPS and charts on it? Does the iphone do it? Or the newer nokias and their ovi system?

Do I need to purchase the charts as an app or whatever?

Any help appreciated

The iPhone Navionics app is 14.99 and is superb.

Carry a back up battery, though!
