Sorry Dan,
Didnt mean you to TOW to Falmouth.

Meant you to launch at QAB or Mountbatten or Mayflower in Plymouth and meet us on the SEA at Falmouth.

Sorry about that. Must learn to communicate better in future.

Good luck with your marineman bashing.

Weather looks OK

As it says - I think that the weather is shaping up to be OK - light easterlies or north easterlies.

Petrol

Have just spoken with Sibleys in St Marys regarding petrol - 01720 422431

Very helpful.

They are available on the quay from 0800 on Monday and this is when I have provisionally arranged to fuel. (not necessarily at 0800 but some time after this!)

They are also available "for about an hour first thing Sunday" for anyone only coming for just the two days.

Saturday afternoon "might be a bit tricky as the Scillonian will be alongside".

The cost is about 1.16 / litre which i think is good value considering I paid 1.13/l in Dartmouth last year

They take cash or cheque and the girl I spoke with thought that they could accept cards but using the old manual imprint type machines.

If you will need fuel give them a call.

It's very, very, unlikely i will be joining you guys, which i am rather gutted about, but my priority (sadly) is getting Top-Banana in A1 condition to sell her and rushing this is not an option. Have fun.

FYI: I seam to recall there is not a serious problem refueling in a small boat (RIB) when the ferry is in BUT you do need your own cans - the guy was not overly happy waiting while we took 100li using two 25li cans last year so worth taking several empty cans with you.
