It's a 2001, it was stored outside on a trailer and had been left to the elements, filled up with water. Don't think this helped the transom glue but it was quite apparent it was shot. Slight pull on it and it came away.

I did repair it myself , took a litre of 2 pack PVC glue, 250ml of hypalon glue and a litre of mek cleaner and a litre of acetone.

It's not difficult to do but requires time and a dry environment (I used my summer house for a week) , there's a guide on rib.net that's great and a few videos on YouTube that show zodiacs having theirs changed ( these very in quality)

He's having a laugh. Claims used four days over a weeks hols this year... and he wants £350 more than you can get the items for brand new and that's before any package discount.
