pascoe SR7 against revenger25
hi guys
haven't been here for to long.
I'm looking for a new boat for next year.
I want to sell my revenger 23 with 225 opti.
I am very happy with this boat but I want a little bit bigger.
Maybe I want to change to Mark pascoe SR7.
I don't know to much about the stepped hulls. Can you waterski with it?
Is it really faster? Do you need a special trailer.
And is it thruth that the internal beam of the SR7 is much smaller then the revenger 25?
I use my boat for (high speed) cruising. But also for waterskiing.
The revenger does both very good (70 mph).
So info please.

We also make a RIB in that size range although a little different! Our website should be updated soon, but here are a couple of photos to give you an idea ........ By the way it is a BananaShark 770 so a little larger than the others!

Is the SR7 any bigger or better than your Revenger? wouldn't have thought it worth the hassle of swopping them over.
However Cookee's rib now that really is in a different league. Was very impressed when I had a tour of his Rib at ribex. some very nice touches, would deffinately add it to your list and strongly recommend a trip over to see it

looks beatiful, but I'm looking for a more "raw" boat.
And I want to go to Ribex again with it, by boat off course.

Not sure what a "rasberry" is, but I have a feeling it isn't very politically correct! Kitten actually designed those - they are our 4 position seats and the base is fixed and with the backrest in that position it acts like a bucket seat with good lateral support, or once the seat is flipped over it can be sat on top of for low speed work and greater visibilty - both functions are also available facing aft.
Thanks for the recomendation Pete - it certainly isn't meant to compete directly with conventional "floor and console" RIBs, rather offer a sleeker streamlined boat with more dry storage and lots of other features that arn't found on other boats. I must admit "raw" isn't a word I would use to describe the BananaShark!

Have a look at posts from Fjordrafting - they use a Revenger 29 with a stepped hull and they thinks it's awesome - get excellent speeds even with 12 pax on board!!!

er i thik your 23er aint any smaller than an sr7. A sr7 has only got a 22ft hull length, is ur 23 hull or overall, they are narrow too.. good boats great quality and lateral stabilty, but if ur a skier i dunno how much ud wanna wing it on corners!!

why change boats
no it is just that the revenger is from 2002 and now i can change and not pay that much extra.
the engine is from 2004 and I have a good discount here.
So it is a cood time to change for me.
And the 23 is 7.15mtr, and i believe the sr7 is 7,5 mtr. and the revenger 25 is 7,60 mtr. Exactly the size I want.
I can't place a longer boat in front of my house.
but thanks for the replys.
but I still need some comments about 25 vs the sr7.

Rasberry Ripple ( Cripple). You're right, very non-PC.  Do you fit big paddle handles on the heads and have easy access also?

it says on the website that the overall lenght of the sr7 is 7.5 mtr

The problem is that there are very few Revengers or SR7s out there, so not many people have driven or owned them. If you asked about a BWM then you would be inundated with opinions.
Still not sure what you gain from the change, why not wait until Ribex next year then come across and try them both.
