Ha... seems mine needs some darning and an iron before hoisting.

Apart from a few photos these flags are all I have of my formative days channel hopping with my father starting some 55yrs ago.

I also have "I need a pilot" and "Do not pass in front of me" to hand should they be useful in the future.

I hope you haven’t got any food deliveries booked, you could always draw a red cross on your front door as well!

What might be interesting Jambo .. is seeing how many folk will start winter boating at the end of 2020/ start of 2021. At least Im thankful that I had 2 great days in January and 2 in March although February was too much even for me

If you are really bored.. you might want to watch my last trip of the 2020 season until god only knows when ?

Stay Safe guys ...

Loving the attention to etiquette, with the Quarantine flag......clearly self isolating, and waiting for the authorities to allow you to pass freely......

[emoji1]fortunately it tastes better than it looks. First run in the new smoker, so I’m getting used to it’s quirks.

My RIB is getting the most attention it's ever had given I'm isolated in Poole rather than London, although not actually moving since lockdown! Very thorough cleaning of the deck and engine bay, and redone some wiring on the new isolators I fitted a few months ago, and several minor jobs on the trailer. I almost started replacing split pins again on the rollers...

I've then been looking at things that have never actually worked since I bought the boat ~7 years ago, which never quite made it to the top of the list...

The bilge alarm I always knew seemed to have no float switch attached and was thus non-operational, so I ordered a new switch, and only then decided to check the actual alarm unit and discovered it was completely rusted and knackered, so now ordered a new alarm unit too! Once those arrive, I'll finally have a high water bilge alarm.

Trim gauge has never worked as the original trim senders were broken when I bought it. Whilst I did fit new trim senders to the transom shield/bell housing when rebuilding it a couple of years ago, I never got round to connecting it all together, so finally looking at that. I tested the gauge yesterday and this one does all work, but just need to run a couple of new wires to connect up to the sender.

I then have a new WaterWitch switch to connect to the bilge pump for some automatic operation.

After all those are done I can probably invent some more jobs too! Was debating a solar panel on the T-top... And there's a bit of non-slip Treadmaster M-Tec lying around somewhere to replace a piece on the back of the engine box.

That looks bonny Jeff,....but the life lines look slack, the transom looks low, and i don't think it'll get on the plane...again!!
