Portable engine tach with temp function.

I've put this in Inflatables as it's really only of interest to us guys with portable engines.

I was looking round for a specific model small tach for the Yamaha and I came across this model which also has a temperature function and it's the first time I've noticed one with this facility. Could be worthwhile (if it lasts more than 5 mins).

for twenty quid it’s worth getting the info required if it does pack up in five mins.

Yes agree. It's only that I wanted a specific brand tach previously used that stopped me clicking on this combined tach/temp one. I may yet try one. It would probably have saved my Johnson 15 2T that overheated to the point of scrapping it.

Hope all is well with you and yours Jeff. Are you managing to get out with your cracking outfit much?

If you look back to my ongoing bits and pieces thread post 85 only the one in the third of the three in the images is still working. I temp used it on the Yamaha last autumn but it belongs to the Tohatsu where I want to return it hence looking for another this week.

They really do seem a bit of a lottery.

Think I've had that one in the middle pic twice. This will be the 4th tinytach in 4 years. Even covered in petroleum jelly they all mist up eventually, but as Jeff says providing you get the info required it's worth it.
Nice to hear from you Jeff.

Yep good to hear things are OK with you Jeff. Similarly this year I'm refurbing bathroom, cloakroom, kitchen plus parts of the heating system. We reckon get it done ready for the next stage of retirement!
