Depth Finder?

Hi folks…looking for a depth/fish finder for my Quicksilver 365. I found the Garmin Striker Plus 4 online and seems quite reasonable price. I’m not fishing but want to see my depth plus outline of sea floor, as I sometime go into shallow coastal waters. I also snorkel from the boat a bit so good to see what’s below.

Anyone any experience with the device or similar?

Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill, I use a Garmin Echoplus 45cv and GT20 transducer. It's very good although the screen could be a bit bigger, but that's probably down to 60 odd year old eyes!

This thread might help:-

I have used that Fush finder on several of my boats. It is very good. The screen is a little small but for a sib I can certainly recommend and as you say a good price

I've used the Garmin Striker 5 with the GT20 transducer. I like it a lot. I'm sure Striker 4 is just as good but with a smaller screen.
