Deauville / Trouville Cruise

Evening All

For any one who is interested I will be organising the BIBOA annual cruise to Deauville and Trouville again this year as it seems to be a very popular event. The dates are not 100 % confirmed as yet but it will be June or July time. This will be the 4th year we have run this event and saw around 30 people taking part last year.

Boats of all sizes took part for the 100nm cruise in hot sunshine last year. If any one from Ribnet is interested please let me know and i will start looking at accomodation for us all.

ST VAast

Morning Charles

No this is a different event to St Vaast. I think St Vaast is run early in the year. This is the BIBOA annual cruise to Deauville ? Trouville on the french coast. Its a great event and set in 2 beautiful towns, oh and loads of really nice out side bars and restaurants etc. Not sure how far it is from Jersey but well worth the run. I know its about 100nm from Lymington. We leave on the friday and return on Sunday. Every year so far the crossing has been flat calm and done in hot sunshine. Fingers crossed

Dates for the Cruise

Having gone through the Boat calander last night we have come up with the following date for this Cruise. Leave Friday 11th July - return 13th July.

As it stands this will be the cruise date. I am just confirming with Jim.

Hope fully we can get another really good turn out for BIBOA on this event.

Date Change

Morning Folks

Following my converstion with Yvonne about the dates for this event we have had to change from the original. The dayes are now definately the 18th , 19th,20th July for this event, sorry for the confusion but its tricky with all the other BIBOA events this year. E-mail me if you are interested in taking part or call me on 07747033506 so we can book in early due to french holidays etc.

You can also contact me on the above number for the cruise to the channel Island for those leaving from Lymington area etc.

Hi Brian

I've not got you on my list but will add you to it now for you. How many of you will be coming so i can book the hotel etc and you mooring. Deauville is only a few miles from Le Harve and about 120NM from the Needles. I guarentee you will love the place if you've not been before.
