[QUOTE=martini;517597]How much of a prat to I feel right now[QUOTE]

It's nice to see someone having the stones to stand by a friend when the chips are down. Makes it all the more galling that you then get shafted for your trust.

I notice theat Channel Ribs were posting on here up until a couple of weeks ago. I guess we won't be hearing any more from them then...

I've met him and his family and they seemed like really nice people and not the type to rip someone off.

It's a tough old world out there and I'm really sorry to see this thread again.

I really hope this does turn out ok for everyone involved.

I have done several deals with them and never had a problem, however I can understand the frustration.

Regards

Alex

Yikes. I've just finished reading this. All I can say is that I've had a few things from CR sent all the way here and had no issues. The last one was in about November, a Fastfind PLB.

Either the power of ribnet or the power of Facebook, got an email this morning saying a refund "shouldn't take very long".

It'd take me about 5 mins on a pc but we'll see

Nah! leave it in, I got the name from a bunch of terwats that I used to dive with, due to my tolerance & empathy towards the traveling community. I suspect that there was more than a touch of irony involved

+ 1 CR and Martini your both really nice chaps and made me and my crew on the trip to Alderney feel very welcome as newbies. I too have bought of CR and was constantly updated and goods received very quickly.

Here's hoping for a quick resolution

Predictably I haven't seen a single penny back yet after nearly 3 months

However I am due up in Alderney for a wedding soon so hopefully a little bit of "encouragement" may help move things along
