Yamaha 8hp thermostat...

Evening all...

Just wondering if peeps can recommend the best place to purchase a new thermostat for a 2005 Yam 8hp 2 stroke.

Looked on eBay but it's a bit of a minefield ...

Happy to pay for genuine Yam or if there's a spurious part that is well thought of, that will do!

If a part can cause major issues or is a PITA to fit I have a preference for getting a genuine part.
Learnt the hard way many, many years ago on cars.

I would look to change gasket also
