UKCA Mark EXTENSION

It has been confirmed by the RYA that the requirement for the new UKCA mark for imported boats has been extended to 01/01/2023

The RYA don't make the rules, they echo the rules made by the UK government. You should be reading the .gov.uk site for authoritative information. See https://www.gov.uk/government/news/b...safety-marking

I never said they did and the link you provide is useless as it advises the extension "applies to most products" and therefore not all products.

The RYA has determined how it applies to the boat industry specifically and the outcome is published on their site.

I know. I import heavy machinery from CN and have a CN agent to to do factory and quality checks. I will having tested materials and weld/glue tests.

I need to investigate the UKCA cert further as there is much confusion at the moment although I'm sure things will become clearer.

If there is anything people think is important, I'm all ears.
