Sr4 hp

Hi can anyone tell me if a 2 stroke 30hp yam would have enough power for my sr4? Any advise gratefully received

If you want exciting performance get a 40 or 50. Used to get 33kts WOT and great hole shot (almost instantly up on the plane) with my old 40 2s.
It will be interesting to see how the new 50 4s compares once its on and rigged.

Getting one in decent condition is half the battle. These medium hp engines, especially in 2-stroke guise, long-shaft are always in demand. The Yammie 40V or 50G models (3 cylinder models) are the ones to look for.
