sealing strip

Hi I need to sort out the seal on my console where the top hinges to the bottom.

I currently use neoprene adhesive strip but this is a bit hard and lets water through when the conditions are rougher and water is being forced through.

Any ideas?

ok since u want to take the my little pony gay bot approach. How about festooning ur boat with ribbons to make it pretty. I'm sorry but if you want to go perzsonal I will dance that tune - just don't expect to like the result as viper boys are all about being very pretty - Happy Chrismas.
