Rhibs in a movie... Swim Platform???

I rented Soldiers of Fortune with Christian Slater and in it are a pair of ribs with single inboards with mercuruiser legs. (Yes I did have to slow down a few scenes).

They seem to have really nice integrated swim platforms and it looks like nie bottle racks in the front. The engines are direct drive to the leg with the engine bay in the back. I know its not a great picture of the boat but can someone identify what hull it is?

They look like the Bollinger 11 meter with the raised engine compartment but they had dual jet drives. I have never heard of them making a 7 meter.

Diving platforms or as some call them bathing platforms are quite common among UK and European rib manufactures.

here are two examples and I have such platfom on my demo rib.
see photos and before you ask my demo rib is the one with the white hull

On your demo is it part of the hull casting process or is it a bolt on? Is there any chance you could get a direct picture of it showing how its attached to the hull?

Have you found any disadvantages to having them?

Hi John

No it is a bolt on part and the platform is a GRP moulding. this photo is an earlier demo model my old Seahawk V and the platform was retro fitted my the new owner but the parts were supplied by us. You can just about see one of the support bars.
