Perfectly put, I never had direct contact with Jambo, but when ever I saw that handle pop up on here I always thought to myself, "this is going to be worth a read".

Hard to believe.... I was literally just thinking of Him as I logged on to Ribnet...I had it in my mind to PM him while I was on.

Very sad news, my thoughts are with you, the family and friends.
I never met Billy but did exchange some messages with him. As JK has said he was a Stalwart on Ribnet and appeared to be a true gent sharing his knowledge and experience. I learnt from several of his knowledgable posts, and they were always worth reading.

Yes he did David especially when I told him about the bedroom with the fire my wife and I fell asleep in front of it with our chocolate lab Henry all woke up in the early hours cold that tickled him of corse the amber nectar had a part to play. All the best
