Highfield RIB 640 zincs

My husband and I just boughta 2017 Highfield aluminum hulled rib. The surveyor noted no hull mounted zincs, although I did spot one behind the motor mount. Are there more places that should have zincs? I've never owned an aluminum boat before.

Hopefully a highfield owner will be along shortly to confirm what they have on theirs. If it were me I would be going back to the surveyor and asking them (especially since they missed one). I’d probably also call your nearest highfield dealer as even if you know what’s needed you then need to work out how to fit them without damaging the hull.

Is it painted or bare Aluminium?
Are you planning to use or salt or fresh water?

Hi,enjoy your highfield ,i had a 2014 5 metre from new and only had standard fit honda "zincs" on the engine ,the only thing i picked up on was some had some troubl with hard boat rollers damaging hull but my genuine rollerbunk system never took any paintoff , i sold after 4 years and the boat was as good as tthe day i bought her ,i did keep on a trailer and not moored in the water ! ,

I’ve got a Highfield and there aren’t any zincs on the hull but as Orwell Boy correctly says they’re on the engine mount (and engine of course).
