Hi Forum

Ive finally got my set up after having trouble with the honwaves

Heres my Avon 315 roll up floor and its mint..What a fantastic Dinghy these are

Will be cruising around morecambe bay and river lune

Looks a nice clean outfit, I always like the look (and use) of wooden oars. I had the Mariner badged version of that engine for years and it was one of the most simple to maintain and most reliable engines ever.

I got the boat and a honda 4 stroke 2 hp engine and a british pump for £650..Not a mark on any of the stuff

It had been in its bag for 10 years and had little use..A 77 year old chap from derby sold me the set up a few days ago.

The quality of this boat is fantastic...It is very heavy and a 2 person job when moving about in the bag..

Glad i waited for the right kit to come along

That's a great deal. I've bought minters like that a couple of times and once was an Avon wooden floor SIB with that same (Mariner) engine. Went all the way from Cambridgeshire to Blackpool to collect.

If you can call it a complaint the weight is about the only thing folks mention with that SIB.

I paid £500 for the Yamaha 4 hp 2 stroke and it had never been used..We have a static caravan at riverside holiday park and the river lune is next to it..
