New here thanks for letting me join myself and a friend middle of last year bought a Sterling Sabre 28 1980's vintage with powered by a Ford Sabre 180hp
amidships through a forward / reverse gearbox to a Stern Powr 83 outdrive with a 19 x 18 cushion hub prop the boat hasn't been afloat for at least 10 years so is a huge rebuild project although the engine started within 15 minutes and the gearbox works and prop turns the rest of the leg was seized swivel and tilt the whole thing is off and stripped freed and ready to rebuild once cleaned of crud and repainted although the prop is BER and will need replacing (anyone know for one ) have been removing and sealing windows boat needs a complete re wire re upholstery and almost every thing else.
