Just for info - it was only ever officially a few £'s a day for a SIB or similar but they have now waived all fees for boats under 4m regardless. Not often that sort of thing happens these days.

Harbour dues exemptions:

All vessels below 4m or that have no mechanical means of propulsion are now exempt from harbour dues. If your boat falls into this category please contact the office to register and get an identification sticker. This is important because river staff often come across boats which have come adrift or have been moved from where they should be and they are unable to contact the owners.

Yes, some places are a bit much - the Dart was silly cheap really when you see the scenery you get but even nicer now it's gratis!
