Or our 9800 members, 338 claim to be from Ireland and another 136 are from Norn Iron.
Would be interesting to see if willks your reputed gift of the gab skews the post count...

3.4% of our members list their country as "Ireland" therefore you might expect 3.4% of posts to be people from Ireland. I suspect you skew this!

I was raised there (Norn Iron) and speak the lingo... does that count?

Afraid now I'm land locked in England, 60 miles from the sea (which is about as far as you can get from the sea in Ireland), and have to continually repeat myself after several pints of the black stuff...

Ribliam I am in your same boat.. That being with out a boat.

Colin I was actually going to go pick up a boat in black rock cork area. My jeep however is still in the body shop and I won't be getting it back till Monday grrrr. Going to look at a 4.5m chinook Sib for a restoration project don't have a ton of cash so just getting something cheap and cheerful hopefully. Don't mind doing my own scrubbing and patching. What are you picking up in Waterford? If you need something checked out before driving up here let me know. I hate driving hours just to look at trash!

Well it would be about a dream motor for the boat I am looking at. But currently my dreams are only as big as my pocket book. Buying the motor would probably be my whole budget. But if your feeling very philanthropic hit me up.

I think that we have DoneDeal.ie if we're feeling particularly xenophobic (Mr. California!) and that some* of these random persons are my f2f friends - so get in ####### the sea!

* Obviously some of them are chancy English Barstewards, but no-one is perfect.
