310 Fastroller floor project

Hello and thank you for letting me join,

I have a 1998 zodiac fastroller, last year I took it to the south of France and the floor exploded in the heat. I am thinking of making a new floor from lightweight ply. Has anyone undertaken such a project or would be prepared to offer some advice please?
I have been looking to buy a set of floorboards but none come up for sale.

Thank you
David

Is your Fastroller the version with a separate sausage keel inflated to about 3.5psi?

If so then as long as you make a plywood floor that stretches the boat length and width ways it will function.

Here is the floor from my old Zodiac of about that length to give you an idea of the various sections needed.

In your case I'd be be inclined to make the first squared board and the triangular section as one... and probably have just two further boards going rearwards. You will need to form a slot arrangement so they interlock fore/aft and make up side stringers so the boards are all held as if one flat floor.

I'd start with a cardboard template then cut the wood a little oversize trimming finally until it just fits but is quite tight in the boat.
