Fire Engine Style Headset System?

Interested in seeing if there is a comparable headset system for boats? See image attached.

Yes yes I know uncomfortable and unnecessary. Call it nostalgia, call it retarded - I’m still interested in seeing if this is an option. Wind was always a problem with the windows down on the engine, would likely be worse on a boat.

So is there a decent, wind proof, waterproof headset system that perhaps can tie into the VHF and Stereo?

Cheers

I bought 2 Motorbike wireless intercoms and installed them in a couple of pairs of ear defenders. You can make a decent set for a very reasonable price.

Take your pick

Sounds like 3M Peltor ComTacs would be ideal for you, although the issue you'll find with headphone style sets like these is strong winds can take them off your head.

Id love a suitable equilivant for use with my Geckos ideally plugging into the icon hand held & intercom function.
Just cant justify the cost of the OEM solution for the very little use they would have.

Sena is one of the main brands in the USA. They can go into arborist type climbing helmets with ear muffs, and into motorcycle helmets without ear muffs. Then they have stand alone units more geared to sailors, like pictured above.

Got an indication of costs for a pair to plug into Icom VHF handhelds and use with Geckon helmets please?
