Any ideas just run cables and plugged in, no spark?

New cable and genuine merc controls simple plug in and go, but nought It all run fine before I removed every thing, for refurb,
Yes kill switch is on, just can not see any reason for it not to work,
I have removed oil pump but I've done it plenty times in the past with no problems .

Any ideas what to look at would be great before I start stripping in to bits and doing resistant tests on cables ,

just found this ? I have just fitted new tilt switch as it was sticking , surely it's not part of the IGN circuit?

mercury tilt switch has failed, follow the black and yello wire back and on the engine block you will find an oblong shaped plastic module about 1.5 inches long, disconnect that then try again if spark comes back that is the problem,

Lol feel stoopid now,,, nope disconnected mercury switch, itv still no worky
