Gear ratio Goldfish drive

Hello and thank you for a great forum.

I don't know if there are still any Goldfish 29 owners around here but I'm looking for the standard gear ratio on the Bravo One X drive they were delivered with about 5-10 years ago.

Specifically in this case it is a 29 RIB Tender from 2010 with the Yanmar D-Max 380.

I can't get hold of Goldfish and the seller of the boat has no clue and I need as I'll be replacing the drive from the X to XR for added durability.

Thanks

Most likely a 1.36:1 but easy enough to work out. Put the drive in gear & mark input & output shafts, turn input until output shaft has completed 1 full revolution & see where the input is stopped, only 3 ratios available 1.36 1.5 & 1.65.
1.5 is easy to determine as its exactly 1 and a half turns on the input shaft, if its turned more than 1.5 turns its 1.65 if its less than 1.5 turns then its 1.36

Thanks, my guess is also 1.36 but I don't have access to the boat (it is located 6 hours drive away).

I want to start looking for a new drive and potentially other props in advance due to the age of the current drive. That's why I'm looking for a more certain answer.

Hi!

Late to reply but I believe your boat came with the 1:1:36 drive.
Do you have the ventilated prop setup? 29" pitch prop?

You can go with the XR 1:1:35 drive.
