15HP Mariner very lumpy idle

Hi guys (and gals!)

I have just bought a 1993 Mariner 15HP but it has a very lumpy idle. It feels as though it's about to die but it doesn't! When revved and in gear (whilst applying revs) it's fine and runs sweetly, but it's just when idling. My guess is a blocked idle jet in the carb, as the fuel tank supplied was full of bits. I'm going to get some carb cleaner tomorrow and see if that does the trick, if not will upload a video for you guys!

All sorted now, as in the engine gave up the ghost whilst out along the South Coast! Hopefully it's not seized but it wasn't sounding right, it was knocking and the coolong water from the tell tale was very hot
