Weird photo

Every time I post a photo, the forum is inserting a random photo of some bloke with a SIB in a harbour. The photo isn’t mine & it’s not on my phone. I’ve just created a for sale ad. And the same thing has happened. The photo I posted was of a wheel clamp, but the photo in the ad is my old mate.

Getting somewhere it’s inserting
[(attach)]1[(/attach)] but without the brackets, I’ve had to put those in to stop it from happening again [emoji849]

I tried a few times to post a couple of photos using my iPhone X, always told me invalid file type. Tried using my laptop and had no problem at all. Haven’t a clue why, but I know in future I’ll be using the laptop to post any pics.

I don’t normally have trouble posting pics from the iBone. It just seems that on this occasion the forum is automatically inserting an extra attachment, #1. I’ve tried clearing the cache, shutting down the app etc. Hey ho, not the end of the world. That’s next week[emoji849]

You’re not the first one to say I’m a bit “special” 🥴

Are you using the mobile app? If so try:

Uninstalling
Cycle your device off and then on
Reload the app

If you're not using the app, try restarting your device.

Sounds like someone else is having a similar issue:

See: "Edit: I’m not sure where the random boat/bloke in the harbour picture came from!"

Well done. I rather suspected that it was Keith "I shall return" Hart but the image quality was pish.

This Mystery is almost solved. I think the forum is haunted but I'm sure there's a more orthodox explanation.

(By the way) they should be brackets not "quotation marks" ;-)

I felt I got the use of the word "pish" in a sentence just spot on though.

Have you fixed it yet?
