Neil,

We'll wait for you. We'll just potter around off calshot trying to catch some fish whilst we wait.

See you in the morning

Fab day. And we even saw a Puffin!!!

I covered 94nm and used 115l of fuel if it's calibrated correctly, we'll see when I fill up again!

Chris, no worries about pics, will post some of the finer ones we got , ut probably in the week some time. Might get a few up tonight.

Did anyone get a photo of that Puffin ?

I thought it was a baby one but I have been informed that its the full size version. No wonder we couldn't see them. Black and small hidden in those caves. He did look cute though

Okay just got the mileage.

82 Nautical Miles travelled. 67 Litres of fuel used. Average = 1.22 Nautical Miles per Litre.

Quietly impressed seeing as I was convinced I had used much more fuel. We spent most of the trip running at near or on 5000 revs which scares me. Must have been something to do with smooth seas and good constant running. We did keep good formation and must have looked impressive to any onlookers.

0.71 l per nm, that's pretty good.
Am hoping I don't have to put in 115 l and that it's just a calibration problem, not sure though. But given I spent so much of it between 5000 and 6000 rpm, not too worried. We'll see. And the Searider would not have used much less I don't think, and could not have kept up!!!

Anyway, worth it for a great day!
