Any joy with the accommodation? Booking.com and airbnb is showing plenty of options still.

Well I’m in abit of a funny situation I’ve potentially got a berth with the Plymouth yacht haven but they don’t know until closer to the time so it might be all abit last minute. Still a little confused as to how it all works on the day as in everyone meeting etc.

They've said the same to me but they've never yet not had one, even if its the fuel berth just for overnight.

The breakwater fort is in the middle of the breakwater, boats head out to there 15-20 minutes before the advertised start time, meet up, have a chat and then, at the allotted time, head off as a flotilla.

We cruise in company to the stop point, some will sprint off and come back, others will stay together, some tootle along at the back with the faster boats visiting to make sure they are ok.

We stop, eat, drink, chat and compare journeys before heading back to do it again the following day.

Breakfasts for day two / three, evening meals or pints are arranged and enjoyed

Hi mate, I'll be leaving from Mount Batten, happy to pop over to Yacht haven and meet you before heading out to the Fort.

Cheers Paul

Andy,
To find Eddystone head c. 11NM SSW( that's just a bit a bit right of South) from the W. end of the Breakwater

Hi Bob.
As things stand at the moment I should be up for this. Talk nearer the day about what time to leave?

Just remember, huge areas of water will be zoned off as safety zones, boats will be coralled in to "approved" watching areas etc......
