I believe Marines etc use that method for boarding a hijacked vessel. Apparantly a Radar blind spot and less likly to have a lookout posted.

Yet again being derided by the great Phil Davies - why the hell should I have to worry about what I post in case of snide remarks????

You are starting to get way too personal for my liking - I NEVER attack you on these forums(even when YOU make idiotic remarks) - why the constant goading?

My mate has just come back from risking his life in Iraq and is looking forward to me getting my RIB - what the hell is the harm in that??? Also don't you understand tongue in cheek remarks???

This is a Rupert 34, belonging to the Norwegian Anti Terror Group. It was tested in the last issue of "Vi menn Båt" (witch you don't understand). It has 3 x 225 Optimax. The top speed is "secret" - but 55-60 knots is my guestimate. (the journalist said 50 and still a very strong acceleration)

Rupert also makes Rupert 22, 26, (34), 40, 50 ...

Se www.rupert.se for more information.

I have a Rupert 26 myself and I am very satisfied.
(Except for the f... 250 V-MAX HPDI engine witch blow a pistons every 40 hours.. I' am on my third engine this season...)

Regards from Norway - Ketil ***
