your supposed to put the clearcoat on as soon as the colour has tacked off .give it a light flat off with p800 wet then a couple of coats of colour then as soon as the colour is dry enough to wipe over with a tac rag put two or three coats of clear on only leaving just enough time in between coats for them to touch dry no longer
