Thanks for the quick replies.
The casing is smashed well beyond repair.
All that’s left is the bevel gear and jagged casing.
Bit concerned that there maybe shock damage.
Think I’m leaning more...

Advice needed over damaged engine
Hi
We’ve managed to damage our 2006 Suzuki DF140.
Hit a rock which has broken some of the gearbox casing off.
It’s a well looked after 300 hour engine.
We unsure we should try and find a s/h...

Windsurfing from a RIB
Had a great first day out of the season last weekend - ticked off a 'to do' and rigged up a windsurfer in Weymouth Bay and out into blue water. Just about got planing on the windsurfer - any more...

Kayaks
Borrowed brother's Ocean Kayak and took it round the sea lochs on Mull and down the Fleet in Chesil last summer. Very relaxing. Found some secluded beaches for picnics and inquisitive seals...

Transporter
Transporter ..... loads of room and great for camping. Double matress fits in te back and for extra room an awning/tent on the side. But then .... I'm biased.

Sailing academy on old Portland Naval base has excellent slipway and facilities: www.wpnsa.org.uk/dayfees.htm - expensive (£21 up to 20ft) but showers, cafe, flushing facilities are worth it. ...
