Yep. Worked fine but decided to go with grandmaster in the end over the top.

Cheers Alex, just trying to work out the best way of blocking the hull without making it irreversible. Think the clear Perspex with drain bung at the stern is spot on. Trying to see if I can source 25 mm doughnut washers so I can put a penny washer either side of it with a nut and bolt through. My thinking is when put in the vent holes and done up, the washer will expand and seal the hole. Comments???

That's the kiddy, what do you guys think of the handlebar end idea for the vents in the bow

Apparently they come with different size rubber inserts to fit any diameter handlebar! Now I'm sure some handlebars must be pretty close to 25 mm.

Nice idea I just filled mine with marine plastic padding and then gelcoat over the top would be easy to remove should i want to, same with the plate on the transom.
My idea was I could see if any water got in to the hull with the Perspex window, but as yet I have not had to let any out

Granted its a new hatch but the boat has done 100nm+ and hasn't let a drop in yet.

Maybe time will tell.

The front air holes have drain bungs in them.

I think some Harley bars are near 1" ID, but finding bar ends for them might be a bit difficult.

It's worth doing as well, I often hear it hissing.

I have a perpex plate sika'd over the hole with a drain bung in it.
The centre of the bung has a piece of windscreen washer pipe through it that comes back up into the boat.

I have not had a problem in 2 years since I blocked it off, I did test it when I first did it buy pumping air in but stopped when the deck started creaking

If you can find Harley bar ends without tassels I'll be surprised...

You wouldn't get away with pretending to own a Harley, you're not posh enough. You can't be, you own a Searider

That paints a very funny image!! On the way to a middle of the night lifeboat shout the other night I had an underpant malfunction, turns out they were inside out and back to front!! Now that could be real dodgy in leather studded cacks!

Still not posh enough for a Harley.

You have to 'live the lifestyle, bro'... Smoke Harley fags, wear Harley leather underwear (yes, it exists), waer the aftershave, chaps, use the shampoo.......etc etc ad nauseam....and be Fred goodwin to buy it all.

Oh, and you have to refer to the bike as 'my investment'.
