As long as it is clear the boat needs to be paid for on collection then I can't see what any scam would be.
If he is paying 10% up front before collection then its in his interest to come for the boat.
I would let them bid, the worst that will happen is they don't pay and that can happen with anyone.

Also it depends on how they want to pay.
Obviously even Cash can be suspect.

Mind you, I struggle to see why they would purchase a boat of this value to ship out to Greece, unless smaller RIBs just aren't available there.

As said above why don't you check them out by phoning Scorpion? Seems easy and more reliable than most ebay transactions. He has also provided you with his work email address and full contact details. Seems easy enough to verify.

If I were them I wouldnt be overly impressed that you had posted all of my contact details on a web forum.
