She looks well hard beside those powder puff yokes around you. Don't forget to dress dark, wear shades and make authoritative gestures as you proceed.

Have a port for me

Happy days ........ I know the area reasonably well .............

Dont forget the excellent fishing off of Porto ............ I think you can still get a permit from an ATM .........

The Bass fishing season will have just started over there, so should be plenty about.

They are catching 50lb+ Croakers (Atlantic Croaker) inshore at Lisbon.

Have a good holiday PD ............

Ferry to Dieppe & then drive down through France, along the top of northern Spain via Santiago de Compostela & down into Portugal.

Had the boat out today for a steady cruise up the Douro to the first barrage. These are a series of dams used to control the river level & generate hydro electricity. To pass up river, you have to use the lock system, which you have to pre book & pay for, needless to say, we did neither We had an hour out on the sea in the afternoon to catch our tea, so grilled mackerel, salad, spuds & a bottle of vinho verde for tea.
All in all, not a bad dayClick image for larger version
