Happy days ........ I know the area reasonably well .............
Dont forget the excellent fishing off of Porto ............ I think you can still get a permit from an ATM .........
The Bass fishing season will have just started over there, so should be plenty about.
They are catching 50lb+ Croakers (Atlantic Croaker) inshore at Lisbon.

was there very recently would have been lovely to see BP in the flesh - have a great holiday; did you go over on the Brittany Ferries or Eurotunnel and long drive?

As I've said Rick,if you need the space, 585 no question. If you're happy with a cracking boat for a couple, the 545 is a trooper, 4 pax is cosy though.

BP up the Douro
Well, today was a new one[emoji15] de-camped from Porto & drove an hour down the coast to Aveiro, supposedly the "Venice of Portugal" found a small marina & arranged a berth for BP. When I enquired in true Yorkshire fashion "how much?" The reply was a worrying, "Don't worry about the price my friend, I think you can afford it" this had me worried. The next thing I know, they are launching the boat for me in a way that I've not done before, god knows why when there was a perfectly good slip, but hey ho, when in Portugal..... And the price..€5/night +vat, including launch & recovery.[emoji15]
