In which case, and with all due respect, you need to glean more knowledge. Whether buying new or second hand, you need to know what you're looking at. Would you buy a car blind without knowing what make, model, price etc?

So you have a dealer 35 miles away, lucky you! My dealer is a 450mile round trip. Good luck if/when you eventually get a boat & are dragging it hundreds if not thousands of miles to use it.

"That boat gets more attention than me!!" Yeah, we all know the words to THAT song.

Show up in the master bedroom one evening with full PPE, a mop head polisher and a bottle of G6. You'll never be nagged about the boat again...

It looks like my earlier reply has gone astray so here's a repeat.

I just want to say thank you to everybody who replied all very useful and helpful.
A special thank you to Bern for his kind offer of a trip when he's in Pembrokeshire shortly. Unfortunately, I can't take up this very kind offer as I am laid up, convalescing after an illness complicated by an accident in which my hand was injured and will be out of action for several weeks., not much sea time this season!

Thanks to all
