with Suzuki SS 15X21 prop 6200rpm, 48mph

with Solas SS 14.75X23 prop 5800rpm 50mph

with following wind 14.75X23 prop 6000rpm 52mph

BananaShark "Jet Six" (6.2m overall) Mercruiser 120 hp Diesel waterjet 30 knots, copes with a force 6 -7 in the Solent no problem, 30 knots and uses a maximum of 27 litres an hour, average consumption approximately 15 litres an hour max!

Red Bay Stormforce 6.5, one up, 190 L, Suzuki 175, 6000rpm, 43 kt. Suzuki S/S prop. Not the fastest but it still feels great off the coast of Donegal

Small boat, big power

Zodiac Pro 7 man (4.20m),
Suzuki DF50,
5-10L fuel (running low!),
me and my 12 year old son,
30.2knots on GPS!
Glassy calm though!


In the rough stuff 28 max (inc full fuel of 25l)!

mmm... Always thought I should be able to get afew more knts than I do.

Ribtec 585, Yam F100, 4 blade prop (not the fastest I know)
WOT @ not much over 5000rpm 29kts/30kts

Humber destroyer top speed at WOT anything between 42 knts and 48 (with the wind behind me)
