300hp

The time has come to choose an engine..
Having had a Evinirude 250 i though a change to a Verado would be good, but after a lengthy chat with the Envinrude dealer he thinks the 300 etec is streets ahead of the Verado..
What do you guys think?

Well I dare say the rude will be lighter. I dont know about economy though, but You gotta love the fly by wire of the Merc and the silence and the instant POWER The merc will need more servicing though, but you can get a 5 yr warranty now though too

Tough decision to have to make, I feel for you...not

Only just noticed the Scorpions gone, am I a bit slow or what? I assume you have something else to hang your new motor from?

Very nice, interesting choice not being as mainstream as a Scorp!

When do you plan to be in the water? Shouldn't be difficult to spot you in a crowd with a Cougar!

Im just about to put 2 pairs of Verado 300's on 2 Arctic 28's for the Swedish navy. Will see what there like!!. Verado any day for me. Fly by wire, no buying tons of 2 stroke oil, 5 year warranty, Smartcraft system. But i would say that!
