Did the round IOW I'm 2010 on a jetski for help for heroes. There were 36 skiers and was one of the best days I've ever had on the water. To do so again would be excellent but fear may hold up other more capable ribs.
Well I'm going to have a go on my SR4 with it's ancient Mariner 30 2T.

Just to makes sure that there are no stragglers and help with engineering.

It will mostly be with my own engineering most probably but at least there shan't be anybody behind me.
I've got a wing anyway. Might need you more than you need me!!!!!

fuel

Might be worth some serious thought about how much fuel you will need to carry especially against tide and wind.

Takes about 2 hours cruising round ( 25 knots ish ) , used about 30 litres in a zap cat, obviously a bit more ( lots more! lol ) in a larger rib. Popped round on a ski a few times and never needed extra fuel. The are fuel stops on the north side of the island and I'm sure the larger boats wouldn't mind carrying a couple extra cans

Previously we've got round no problem fuel wise but the bigger boys don'y mind carrying spare fuel. Although you can get round in a couple or three hours it's worth taking some photo opportunities around St Caths and the Needles and make a day of it.

I'm assuming you've settled on May 26th, weather permitting. I'll co-ordinate our lot including the money raising side.
