To all those intending to Camp:
Received the literature from Ship and Anchor:
Adults 5.00 per night
Children 2.60 per night
Trailers 3.50 per night
Launching 12.50(for campers)

Launching can take place between 9am-5.30pm daily and is subject to a tidal restriction of LW+2 hours - they even sent a tide table.
They have also enclosed an ariel photo and it looks as though the only moorings are to a pontoons with a walkway to the bank.

They are willing to reserve a space for our group subject to a 10.00 deposit and numbers and units etc.

I am willing to arrange camping provided I know all those intending to camp by the end of March so please let me know as soon as possible?
Martyn

new update - so far 15 ribs

Guys

Just would like to take this opportunity and welcome new member
Tony Hancock. Tony has a superb XS550 with 90 Mercury Optimax and is based at the Littlehampton Marina

New update as follows:

The Jackeens - "Zebedee"
Roy Smith - (possibly - awaiting rib)
Louise & Richard - "Blue Ice"
Martin & Anto - "Remedy"
DJL - "Bumblebee"
Richard - "Nautibouy"
Simmons0 (David & Harry) - "Tombouy"
Janet & Bill - "Juno"
Scurvy_Crew & Ribald - "Pendragon"

Welcoming party
Tony Hancock & family - no name
Peter Smith + 3 - no name as yet
Martyn & Ann - "Martann II"
Martin & "Bob" the Yellow Rib
Phil & Tracy Chitty -"Galaxsea 2"
Andre & Wiesia - Parker 750RS
John Kennett - with any of the above listed ribs

Phil & I went down to the S & A on Saturday and even met the lady owner who was aware of our cruise. Wasn't wearing my drysuit but she somehow guessed who were by asking us- "Are you ribsters?"

Littlehampton Marina is aware of our cruise and once we have the final numbers of participating ribs we can sort mooring space.
I will at a later date advise the cost of mooring at LAmpton marina

Photos of the facilities at the S & A will be posted shortly

Ship & Anchor

Guys

These photos will give the campers a good idea of the facilities at the Ship & Anchor.

The photos were taken at HW

Launch and recovery like at the LAmpton marina is subject to the tides

The S & A is a very nice pub open all day and serving a good selection of food

Thanks for all the trouble you are taking for us campers.
Couple of questions:
1. How long does it take to get from S&A to Littlehampton and the meeting place?
2. Are there overnight moorings at S&A for the Saturday Night?

For those intending to stay at The Ship and Anchor:

I have had a few confirmations already regarding camping-the cut off date will be 31st March. Please let me know number of adults/children, type of unit ie tent/camper etc. Time/date of arrival/depature
Thanks
Martyn
