It's a 8.5m Gemini hull, fitted out by Ribeye, with Yamaha 300 so you will have a good trip round. My wife did the trip last year on that very boat and loved it.

Henry, I can lend you a vhf, it needs 6 AA batteries and runs for about 5 days on a set of Duracell's. I'm happy to lend you the vhf for the sat and sun with batteries but you will need to have 6 AA...

If you are going in or out of Southampton Water watch out for Calshot spit. It extends out much further than you would expect and will be shallow enough on that morning and around tea time to bend...

Calshot Outdoor Activities Centre has secure boat storage as well as a slipway. If you phone them up you can book your boat in for the whole weekend. You can also book a caravan, motorhome or camping...

Definitely worth taking part. If you cannot carry enough fuel yourself i am sure one of the bigger boats will carry a jerry can for you.
