Mine has a Jubilee clip round the neck of the oil...

Mine has a Jubilee clip round the neck of the oil reservoir restricting the oil when tilted maybe a worthy mod to help. Helps seal the twist lid mush better.

Have you checked the fuel filter on the engine and if fitted water seperator external to the engine? Id check all filters and to eliminate it replace the plugs you may have a duff one there. Cheap...

Primer bulb before filter is better as you can...

Primer bulb before filter is better as you can still force fuel through the filter if it gets clogged up. After the filter makes pulling fuel through difficult.

That's the way I always have done...

Definitely not haha. See my other post about the engine height definitely needs to be lower due to the transom height. Great rib though handled very well in a big swell at the weekend.

Yeah see what you mean peter I assume that is for adjustment purposes having it raised to allow for movement if necessary. Think a cutout is the way forward here then get my stainless man on the case...
