Wanted: 4.8 - 6m RIB, cash waiting

Hi all,

Looking for a <6m RIB for use on the Solent this summer season. As its for Solent use looking for something decently substantial with a nice deep-v.

Top choices would be:
Ribcraft 5.85, 5.3 or 4.8
Ribeye A500 or 550
Avon SR5.4
Balistic 5.5

Ideally needs 2 side by side jockey seats (I know boats at the smaller end of this range wont have them)

Boat and engine need to be in good condition and a trailer isnt required as long as the boat is in a doable distance from Cowes by water.

why limit to under 6m? I have put some details of my Cobra 6.6 on the ribs for sale section of the forum.
No uncomfortable jockeys on Cobra and its longer than 6m but it might be of interest. She is heavier than the boats listed and handles the solent chop like a dream.

Unfortunately I am limited to 6m by the rules of the mooring I have

fair enough - or seek permission or ask for a bigger mooring. Once you are on the water every extra meter makes a huge difference over the swell.

I have a Bombard 550 explorer db. 90hp Johnson 2 stroke. Good nic. on trailer. Tubes refurbed and valves replaced.
