ZODIAC PRO 9 Man

Question? I have a Zodiac Pro and I am trying to find out if I should inflate the tubes to the level stated on the plate at the Transom which is 3.2psi. I know the Zodiac has removable tubes not glued and when I deflate them to clean behind I am surprised by the gunk that finds its way in.
I usually inflate to around 2.2psi which feels pretty firm to tough. I was wondering if it would make a better seal to put more in.
I cannot find any info anywhere on the web in regards to this.
Anyone out there with experience with the Zodiac?

Hi Adam,
To answer your question; Zodiac are the ones with the most experience I would go by what they say 3.2psi

I use guage that came with my Pro 9 man. Tubes are much harder than you would expect if you rely on feel. Boat handles better also.

3.2psi seems high! If tubes are left a bit soft they absorb wave energy much better, giving an easyer ride in choppy waves.
