The only Bombard I know of is a subsidiary of Zodiac.

They produce a limited range of RIBs and inflatables, nothing apparently larger than 5.25m though: http://www.zodiac.fr/eng/Bombard/index.htm

Tell us a bit more about this 7.3m boat . . .

I have a Bombard 7.3

Thus far this boat has performed flawlessly for me. I bought it new and what I really like about the boat is that I been able to customize it to my needs. I've put a full A frame rack to hold kayaks on the back, plus three waterproof storage boxes. Console, steering and bolster all to my specs. I can't say that I've had it in that big of seas, other than a couple of hours in 8' waves, where we stayed dry. The boat is only a few months old, but thus far I love it. I hope to have pictures soon.
Here is a good link to research the boat http://www.zodiac.ca/bombard/index.html

Ah! I had another look at the web site and it is there, you just have to dig a bit to find it.

It's in the DB range, and looks like a fairly conventional deep-V RIB. From what I have seen of the Zodiac/Bombard build quality I would expect it to be strongly made and well finished -- they use GRP mouldings for the deck as well as the hull.
