no specific place really, just wondered which places people liked the most, and proven cruising circuits.
my family have a yacht on loch feochan so we do spend alot of time around the mull area diving and sailing.

ERR ?? isthat what you all did last year?

i have stayed at puffin a few times as well as a cottage just past puffin on the oban caravan and camping park, was excellebt value.

The good thing about staying on the yacht tho, no black winged death on an evening!

my leave is the end of aug till mid sept so hopefully i'll get up for 2 weeks.

I've got family from Lewis, in Uig. When you head out Loch Roag into the Atlantic... the next stop is Halifax, Nova Scotia! Fantastic fishing, including pollock, haddock, herring, mackerel, red gurnards, skate, lobster, etc. Had a 5m Minke whale come up for air next to the boat last year. Bear in mind the sea was inky black, calm, and it was 11.00pm on a summer's night. For f**k's sake... my heart can't take it! Hopefully heading up end of July into August.

Enjoy.

hadd, myself and hopefully Mr t, a.k.a. "The Black Shadow" will be coming up to the west coast on the 25th of August for a week with the ribs somewhere near jambo's vicinity. We are finding it hard though to find somewhere with three double bedrooms and a single room near the water for launching. Any ideas Billy ?

Kerny,

Not sure where you've looked or e.g. how picky you are on 3 doubles etc. If mixtures of twins/doubles would do then you'll find something on www.tayvallich.org if its available. e.g. the old smithy has a double and twin in the main house and a twin with another twin in mezzanine (overlooking the twins so no nooky!) in the "Summer house" in the garden. IIRC There are two others on there which will sleep 8. Smithy has its own jetty. Others all walking distance to public pontoon and slipway.

K,

If it wasn't that Jambo's worried about his exorbitant commission I'd suggest a .org should have been a .com
