Webbing strap tie down.

I have a new cover made by local upholsterer. It’s holding up well but needs to maintain tension on webbing straps. Currently I am knitting them to the trailer but it loosens. Anyone have any experience with tri bars or similar tensioners for webbing. I just want to wrap it around trailer then tension the strap on it’s return.

Heavy shock cord. Tie the straps to it to keep tension.

I have lots of shock cord and webbing. But I wanted to be able to tension it. Currently tied with two round turn and half hitches and the webbing is still slipping

make your own bungee cords. Put a loop on the canvas side and a hook on the trailer end. Easy to do with hog ring pliers and shock cord by the foot. Also stops from overstressing the canvas because you set the tension how you want it.
