Valve caps stuck

When inflating the rib at Oban last weekend some twa...... person tightened the caps on the valves too tight. Now when I try and unscrew them the whole valve outer part unscrews. I have taken it off, after fixing a piece of string round the inner part so as not to drop it inside, but I cannot get the cap off.

I have tried hot soapy water but there is just nothing to get a hold off to unscrew it.

Does anyone have any tips on how to rectify this? I thought of putting glue on the valve and screwing back in place , then waiting on the glue to dry and then hopefully unscrew the cap but will this cause me any major problems in the future?

It's a B7 valve.

Any tips greatly appreciated.

If you have the valve handle extend on it henshaw use 20 foot pounds to do them up we had this problem as well but get a bit more leverage on them they will undo blow the tubes up hard it will stop the spinning
