Tobermory Music Festival

Anybody on the West Coast or further afield planning to head to Tobermory this weekend?

Heading there on Saturday and looking forward to having a dram with any forum members that are going!

Hi Cam

Will make sure we say hullo if we see you. Always keen to get a look around another Redbay!!

We are coming from Campbeltown and will prob stop off in Oban (unless we take the west route up to Tobermory). Where is suitable to berth for a couple of hours in Oban to get access to a Bar/Restaurant? will we get chased from the pier that the two restuarants are on? Eusk and the italian place?

Any suggestions welcome even further south as will be ready for a break by then.

Regards

Boo

Should be a good run up.
There are a couple of options for you.
1. tied up on the newish pontoon next to the sailing club. probably a tenner to leave it there for a wee while. on the inside of the hammer head would be ideal. it is a bit of a walk to town but not too far.
2. tie up in Kerrera marina and get the ferry across, they run on the hour every hour i hear. they run staright to the North pier.
3. give me a shout a we have a couple of moorings in the bay that you can use... if you have a dinghy.

Catch you in Tob
